How do you know that a show has no chance of seeing light again? When your net fields the only original programming of the night besides the Olympics and comes in third.
Obviously, NBC crushed everyone else under the weight of the pure muscle of the U.S. men’s Olympic swimming team, averaging 29.95 million viewers with a 17.6/28 share and a 10.2/27 in the key demo.

Does the weakness of a network show’s summer reruns say anything about how the show may be losing some of their rabid fanbases?
