Thank you to Jane Boursow with Bravo Fan, Katelyn Thomas with Medium Dreams, Brian Allen with SF Universe, Mark Tafoya with the Culinary Media Network, Kristen Hains, @aflyonthewall, @moxygen, and @iluvariedana and others I missed who participated in the first b5 Emmys group live-blog tonight. We had a real blast — much more fun than most of the people who were forced to attend the show without the benefit of snarking, I think.

This year, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has added a brand-new category for Emmy voters — Outstanding Reality/Competition Host. And in response, all five nominees in the category for Outstanding Reality/Competition Host – Tom Bergeron (“Dancing with the Stars”), Heidi Klum (“Project Runway”), Howie Mandel (“Deal or No Deal”), Jeff Probst (“Survivor”) and Ryan Seacrest (“American Idol”) – have been named hosts of the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony on Sept. 21.
