Tonight on TV: Oct. 8

ABC: Pushing Daisies -  A search for a missing teen leads the team to a circus that might not be so funny after all. In the meantime, Lily visits Olive at the convent.

Private Practice — Addison and Sam plot a hostile takeover of the practice, as the doctors look for new patients and new ways to make money. Also, a couple pushes for a fertility treatment considered unethical.

Dirty Sexy MoneyDid you see last week?  If you didn’t, you missed a stunner. The Darlings deal with the aftermath of the death and the arrest, neither of which, scarily enough, had anything to with each other. Also, they start squabbling over who should inherit Tripp’s money. In related news, Nick’s edging closer and closer to a heart attack.

CBS: Gary Unmarried – Gary pushes Alison’s fiance to set a wedding date after *ding!* he realizes his alimony payments would go down.

Criminal Minds — Prentiss and Reid are held captive on a cult’s compound after they went undercover to investigate suspected child abuse. Luke Perry guest-stars as the cult’s leader. This is why he doesn’t want to go on “90210″ — he likes the idea of actually playing multi-dimensional characters.

CSI: NY — An air marshal is found dead on a flight Mac is on, and he’s convinced that the killer is on the plane. Nelly guest-stars.

NBC: Knight Rider – The team’s in Hawaii masquerading as surfers to stop the smuggling of terrorist weapons. Seriously, is anyone actually going to watch this?

The Biggest Loser: Families — Some of the players step up their workouts to keep up in the competition. Ho hum.

Lipstick Jungle — Nico frets about going public with her new romance, Victory skirmishes with Joe over her new romance, and Wendy throws herself into a new project.

Fox: Bones — Investigators end up at a Chesapeake Bay church to identify remains that may be those of the community’s pastor. But is it ever that easy?

The CW: America’s Next Top Model — Tyra teaches the contestants about fiding their best pose (I kina liked Magnum from “Zoolander”) and then they attempt to show real emotion during a fake awards ceremony.
