Tonight on TV: Oct 2
The vice-presidential debate will take over on four of the nets (as well as the cable news nets) at 9 p.m. Really the CW’s episodes shine tonight, so they’ll get top billing.
The CW: Smallville — Oliver (a.k.a. Green Arrow) falls ill and experiences delerium about his time on the island, how he met Tess, and how he learned to fight with a bow and arrow to survive), while Clark and Chloe race to save his life. Chloe makes a decision in helping Oliver that shocks Clark. For more, click here.
Supernatural — Dean goes back in time and sees his parents fall in love. He also discovers his grandfather has a secret which may define his and Sam’s mission. The folks over at SF Universe say that tonight’s episode is crucial and maybe controversial. Click here to see what they have to say.ABC: Ugly Betty – New Mode editor Whilhelmina tries to talk Betty into being her assistant, while Daniel faces a custody battle to keep his son in the United States.
CBS: Survivor: Gabon — There’s drama because some contestants are accused of overeating, and then a contestant is so roughed up during a challenge that their future on the show’s in doubt. It’s only the second week, so I guess things are getting tough early.
NBC: My Name Is Earl — Joy has to stay in a bubble because of a flesh-eating disease on her toe (hope you’re not eating anything while reading this) and Earl has to take over household duties for her, including helping her two sons get over their school issues. In the second issue, Jerry Van Dyke plays a former Green Beret who Earl stole an RV that is the latest recepient of the karma list.
Fox: Hole in the Wall — Oh geez, they’re already doing celebrity challenges? In one part of the show, the girls of “The Flavor of Love” on VH1 take on the girls of “The Rock of Love”. I think the true challenge is seeing some of those girls’ breasts getting through the holes at all.
