Today is the official first day of the season for the Big 3 nets. Finally!

NBC: Heroes — The third season opener begins with a special that reviews important plot points (so new folks won’t be completely confused, I assume) and a list of possible suspects in Nate’s shooting. On the show itself, they reveal who the shooter is while Hiro and Ando guard a family secret and Sylar visits Claire.

ABC: Dancing With the Stars — The new season begins and we will learn if Warren Sapp has the moves.

Boston Legal — This is the beginning of its final season. *sniff* Alan suffers an ethics crisis when an old girlfriend goes up against him in the courtroom, while Denny has performance anxiety (where?)

CBS: How I Met Your Mother — Ted gets an answer to his wedding proposal, while Barney discovers he’s in love with Robin.

Two and A Half Men — Charlie runs into an ex whose kid looks very familiar. Could this show become Two and A Half and Another Half Men?

Worst Week — This might be the new show that I’m looking most forward to. In this British remake, an accident-prone man travels to her parents’ house to tell them they’re getting married and expecting. The parents don’t like him, so the laughs are bound to begin there.

Fox: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles — Sarah and Derek attempt to save Charley’s wife from Cromartie.

CW: Gossip Girl –Blair plots revenge when Dan flirts with new girl Amanda. Vanessa and Blair also plot something in response to a secret Catherine’s been keeping.
